British Taekwon-Do Federation – BTF
Huddersfield TKD Academy is a member of the BTF. The BTF handles compliance (i.e. licences, DBS, insurance, first aid) and ITF black belt gradings, also running National Instructor Courses, National Technical Training, National Umpire Courses
The BTF also organises International Seminars, National Competition and opportunities to participate in International Tournaments (through ITF England).
British Taekwon-Do Council – BTC
We are BTCr egistered which means instructors have received BTC training on safeguarding, read the policies and procedures, and met the requirements to be BTC certified.
International Taekwon-Do Federation – ITF
We are an ITF school which means following instruction and guidance from an international and centralised committee of Taekwon-Do experts. When you travel to other countries and find an ITF school to visit, you will receive the same experience and instruction.
